On December 20th and 21st, the International Culture Club had our Christmas Party. We decided on two days this year because we wanted more food and more games! On Monday afternoon we gathered in the Cooking Room to make Christmas cookies. We started by making normal sugar cookies, but also made some strawberry and green tea flavored ones as well. As the cookies ‘rested’ in the refrigerator, we played card games. At the end of the day, everyone had a variety of cookies to take home.
On Tuesday afternoon we made chocolate chip pancakes and fruit punch for our party. The pancakes smelled wonderful as they cooked! Everyone enjoyed the fruit punch ‘fountain’ after we added Mentos to the cider. On both days we enjoyed listening to Christmas songs and other popular songs while we cooked. There was even some dancing!
We want to thank Ms. Yamamoto for letting us use the Cooking Room for two days. Thank You! We hope everyone has a safe and wonderful holiday season. Merry Christmas!
